The Interactive Graphics Systems Group is focusing on a wide range of research topics in the field of Computer Graphics, such as the Geometric Search and Semantic Modeling for Digital Libraries applications, and Digitisation in Computer Graphics, Medical Image Processing and Visual Search and Analysis. In addition, the department both offers introductory lectures, such as Computer Graphics I and II, Human Computer Systems, as well as higher lectures. more »


Johannes Fauser's paper "Optimizing Clearance of Bézier Spline Trajectories for Minimally-Invasive Surgery" was accepted at MICCAI 2019, 13-17 Oct 2019.

Anirban Mukhopadhyan from the research group MEC is serving MICCAI 2019, 13-17 Oct 2019 as Area Chair.

He and Arjan Kuijper are co-organizing a MICCAI 2019 tutorial on "Generative adversarial networks (GANs)".

Johannes Fauser and David Kügler got papers accepted at IPCAI 2019, June 18-19, 2019.

The Interactive Graphics Systems Group is headed by the Managing Director Prof. Fellner, who is also directing the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research (IGD) since 2007.
